Na een erg lange zoektocht op het internet kwam ik tot de vaststelling dat zo goed als alle producten die ik nu gebruik, ver van natuurlijk zijn. Steeds meer wordt er geschreven over SL(E)S, parabenen, aluminium, petroleum en wat nog meer. Maar wat doen deze dan in al die verzorgingsproducten die we zo gemakkelijk op de winkelrekken vinden?
Het is de producenten voornamelijk om het geld te doen. Hello captain obvious.

Daardoor ben ik nu op zoek naar natuurlijkere cosmetica die iets doet voor mijn huid en haar. Die probeer ik zelf te maken. Dus hier zullen jullie dingen lezen over het zelf maken van lippenbalsem, zeep, shampoo, crèmes en wat nog meer, maar ook over de ‘gevaarlijke’ ingrediënten die in de reguliere merken te vinden zijn en wat de invloed daar van is op je lichaam. Ik zal ook proberen zo goed en eerlijk mogelijk mijn ervaringen te delen met deze producten.

Therefore I am now looking for natural cosmetics that can really help my skin and hair. I’ll try to make most of these products myself. On this blog you will be reading things about making your own lip balm, soap, shampoo, creams and what not. I’ll also write about the ‘dangerous‘ ingredients that are in regular brands found in the supermarket and what the impact on your body could be. I will also try to be as honest and fair as possible in sharing my experiences with these products.
